The following groups of courses are approved General Education courses and can be taken to fulfill requirements you might have. Remember that your LIS degree must include 60 junior/senior level hours so, if at all possible, you should look for upper-level General Education courses. If you are considering a 100-200 level course, I would encourage you to enroll in it so that you get a seat, but you should consult with your academic advisor to confirm that you can use it in your degree before the semester begins. There are some requirements, like math, which will require a freshman-level course, but please realize this exception, 100-level requirements cannot be counted as part of the 60 upper-level hours you need to gradaute.
