Michael Stephens

Michael recently received his bachelor’s degree from UIS in Psychology. During his four years at UIS, he served as the Chair for the Student Activities Committee (SAC), President of Colleges Against Cancer (CAC), studied abroad in England, played baseball, danced in the International Festival with a Bollywood Dance Group, and much much more. A born multitask-er, this student wanted to try it all! He has served as a Psychology Research assistant for Dr. Frances Shen for two years with a multicultural focus. While studying abroad, he also served as a research assistant for Dr. Chris Longmore from the University of Hull (England) with a neurocognitive focus.

Currently, Michael is studying Human Development Counseling at UIS on the Community/Mental Health tract.

A fan of anything that breaks routine, Michael aspires to check the following items off of his bucket list: skydiving, be an extra in a movie, go whitewater rafting, own a personal MacBook, climb a mountain, learn to play the guitar, visit India, master playing piano, and run a 5k.
