With the Summer Olympics closing up in Beijing, the Jello Olympics kicked off
on the Quad.

About 50 participants showed up for the event, which is in its fifth year of being sponsored by the Christian Student Fellowship.

The students were split up into teams of four or five before the activities started. Round one consisted of eating a small tray of Jello with no hands.

Round two involved passing Jello, by hand, over the head and between the legs of a series of people on each team. One team finished this activity in a quick 30 seconds.

One event consisted of passing a tray of Jello from one person to another with the contestants’ feet, as they were lying on the ground. Whichever team had the most Jello left in the pan at the end won.

Another activity included participants scooping up Jello with spoons in their mouths and crawling or walking it over to a pan about seven feet away.

Jello throwing was done, as people aimed and fired handfuls of it at people six feet away. The event was a favorite of man, as it was the messiest.
An after the Olympics jello fight ended the day.
