Seniors in contention for AMC Honors

Last year’s honorable mention All-American will have stiff competiton for All-AMC honors with Joe Sagar of McKendree posting a 0.73 goals-against-average and Jeff Jelinek, of Hannibal- LaGrange, allowing just four goals all season.

 

Averaging a goal a game this year, Kuba followed a stellar junior year, which earned him AMC Newcomer of the Year, with a season that has him in contention for AMC player of the year along with Hannibal-LaGrange standout, Kevin Zimmerman.

 

Being a defensive midfielder, Findley doesn’t show up in the stat book quite like his fellow seniors. Nevertheless, his holding ability as a midfielder and defensive presence helped out the Prairie Stars in untabulated ways throughout the season.
