In the connection or session profile window you will need to enter information in the correct fields. For most FTP programs, you will only need this information.
The following is a picture of the information I would type in if I were accessing my website with ws_ftp:
For ws_ftp, this is the only information that would be entered, other information is unnecessary.
With your internet explorer web browser open, type in ftp://students.uis.edu/ into the address bar.
After you press enter, you will get a username and password prompt, enter in uisad\ + your netid as your username and your netid password as the password.

After you login, you will be able to view, change, and delete the web folders and files in your student web space. You can add more content to that web space by copying the documents into the blank space of your web folder.
Go to window -> composer
When you are ready to publish your file in composer, click on the "publish" button at the top.
In the settings tab, type in:
Under the publish tab, enter in your filename, and other information is optional according to your preference. You should then be able to press the publish button.
