The UIS campus email system
is Microsoft Exchange 2003. Employees use their campus
Network ID [NetID] to access their UIS email.
Each employee's mailbox is allotted 250MB of email storage space.
Once that limit is reached, no email can be sent or received until the mailbox
is back under the 250MB limit.
A employee's email address is the employee's NetID followed by @uis.edu.
Every employee is included in an email distribution list which is used for official
university communications and announcements to employees. An employee's NetID and email account remain active 30 days after they leave
the University.
