In addition to the financial assistance provided to international students through our own Office of Financial Assistance, we recommend that prospective students investigate possible sources of assistance from outside the university. These may include civic or religious organizations with which the prospective students or their family members may be affiliated, prospective employers that may support the student’s education in exchange for a commitment to work for that employer upon completion of studies and other businesses and organizations that support international education.
Although it is not actually financial assistance, students and their families may also wish to participate in the university’s pre-payment plan.
The EducationUSA centers may also know of other local scholarships available to students in their respective countries.
Please note: By completing the financial affidavit, you have documented that you have sufficient funds to cover one full academic year at UIS. UIS will not certify any private educational loans until the completion of one full academic year.
