Come discover the media and culture of China first-hand.
Program Location: Heilongjiang University, Harbin, China
Traveling abroad presents abundant opportunities to not only learn about other people and their culture, but also to find insight into one's own people, culture and self.
This course will introduce students to the study of global media, culture, and the contemporary critiques of globalization.
Dates: Last week of May and first week of June, 2010
Program fee: to be determined - program fee covers all travel, lodging, excursions, entrance fees, special lectures, and most meals. It does not include UIS tuition and mandatory university fees.
