Why my wing/building rocks:

  • Two-dub is full of people with crazy, random stories. We're the "service" wing of Lincoln Residence Hall, so many of the students who live here love to volunteer. So...while walking down our hallway, you can hear a student talking about how they played cards with homeless people, walked dogs from the animal shelter, or ate lunch with 3rd graders. And those are just the off-campus stories! Mix that in with classes, campus events, and the always-interesting roommate stories...and you have a wing that is far from dull. This is two-dub. We donít do boring. : )

I guarantee you'll love this about living on campus:

  • Your parents donít live here. : ) Haha, but seriously. Living on campus is a great way to truly discover yourself--your likes, your level of responsibility, your priorities, your budget.

Five top things to pack:

  • i-card. Debit/credit card. Computer. Memory foam for your bed. Phone.

Best food on campus:

  • Great question! I LOVE "Showtime" in the PAC Emporium. They serve a lot of stir fry, pasta dishes, and other fun stuff. It's made right in front of you, so it's kinda like Mom's cooking (except faster and...without Mom).

What you won't expect about living here:

  • That someone is always up (we have several insomniacs). And that someone is always sleeping (college kids love naps).

Final thoughts:

  • Get to know your RA. We're pretty fun people. Most of the time. And besides, the more you get to know us now...the less awkward the "I need to borrow the plunger" talk will be later. : )
