In the Spring Semester of 2009, Larry Golden, Project Director, spoke during a psychology class on memory here at UIS. Lisa was a student in the class and found the topic of false memories to be intriguing.
When she needed vounteer work for an ECCE class that summer, the Innocence Project came to mind immediately. She has been with us ever since.
As a history major who loves research, Lisa is involved in handling the initial intake of reuqests for assistance sent to the Project as well as assisting with fund-raisers and events that the Project sponsors.
Lisa graduated in Spring 2010 and is looking forward to a career in teaching.
