Staff Attorney Adam Kaney, Bloodsworth DNA Grant
Adam is a bilingual attorney at the Illinois Innocence Project’s Chicago office handling cases under the “Latino Initiative” within the Bloodsworth DNA grant. Originally from Ohio, he moved to Chicago in 2009 to earn his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. Adam spent the first few years of his career practicing civil and criminal defense litigation, acquiring substantial experience at the trial level. He joined the Illinois Innocence Project in early 2016 to focus his practice on representing the wrongfully convicted.
