The Juvenile Justice Council of Sangamon County, in collaboration with the Child Protection Training Academy at the University of Illinois Springfield, is bringing together experts in the field of trauma informed care with juvenile justice professionals to explore evidence based practices and strategies that can impact juvenile delinquency recidivism rates and help to redirect youth who are considered at risk for involvement in the juvenile justice system.
