Summer Housing Rates & Payments
Summer 2008 contracts for continuing Campus Apartment residents begin Monday, May 12, 2008, and end at 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Summer 2008 contracts for New Campus Apartment residents (those that are moving from LRH or are new to campus) begin at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2008, and end at 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2008.
Summer charges are derived from the Academic Year 2007-2008 Rate Table.
All summer 2008 housing charges will be posted as due June 30, 2007. Charges for residents receiving Financial Aid will be deducted from the available funds before any proceeds are refunded to the student.

Academic Year 2008-2009 Housing Rates per Semester
The rates presented below are reflective of increased operational costs associated with funding anticipated staffing levels, basic utilities/services, and debt service payments during fiscal year 2009, and take effect starting Fall semester 2008. Rate increases range from 5% to 8%, depending upon the area. The Housing rates listed below have been approved by the U of I Board of Trustees for Fall 2008-Spring 2009 academic year.
