L4L is a service and leadership community.
The Leadership for Life Service Wing, also known as L4L, is a service and leadership community within Lincoln Residence Hall. Freshmen admitted to L4L live together, take a class together, and commit to doing service together. L4L members focus on service in five core areas including: Civic Engagement, Youth and Education, Sustainability, Public Health, and Hunger and Homelessness. The purpose of the program is to provide a positive environment through which new students can take the first steps toward a lifelong commitment to community involvement. This program is coordinated by the UIS Volunteer and Civic Engagement Center.
If you would like to learn more about the porgram please call or email the UIS Volunteer and Civic Engagement Center at volunteer@uis.edu or (217) 206-7716. We would be happy to tell you more and answer any questions that you may have.
