Special Summer Storage Requests
If you plan to return for the fall semester, but do not intend to live on campus during the summer, we have a deal for you!
Many students do not enjoy the process of moving out, then moving back all of their belongings 2 months later. UIS Housing is offering a reduced rate of 1/3 the regular summer housing rate for students who will be returning to UIS Housing apartment and townhouse spaces in the fall semester.
Returning apartment and townhouse residents may leave their personal belongings in their private bedroom. The room will be locked and unavailable for the duration of the summer until the fall move in date.
To qualify for the Special Summer Storage program you must meet the following criteria:
- You will return to UIS as a student in the fall semester; and,
- You will continue to homestead in your current private bedroom in an apartment or townhouse (family housing residents also qualify).
- Bluebell, Clover, & Residence Hall Students are not eligible for Special Summer Storage.
- Please contact us if you wish to use the Special Summer Storage program.
Students in shared bedroom spaces, moving to a new fall space, or who currently reside in the residence halls do not qualify for the Special Summer Storage program.
