2009-2010 Special Summer Storage Information

If you plan to return for the fall semester, but do not intent to live on campus during the summer...we have a deal for you!

Many students do not enjoy the process of moving out, then moving back all of their belongings 2 months later. So, UIS Housing & Residential Life is offering a reduced rate of 1/3 the regular cost of summer to those students returning to UIS Housing apartment and townhouse spaces in the fall semester.

Returning apartment and townhouse residents can leave their personal belongings in their private bedroom that will be locked and unavailable for the duration of the summer until fall move in (Friday, 8/21/2009).

To qualify for the 2009-2010 Special Summer Storage program you must meet the following criteria

  • Will continue to homestead in your current private bedroom in an apartment or townhouse (family housing residents also qualify)
  • Will return to UIS as a student for the fall 2009 semester

Students in shared bedroom spaces or the residence halls do not currently qualify for the Special Summer Storage program.
