Roommate Requests

UIS Housing & Residential Life will attempt to honor mutual roommate requests.

Through this on-line process, you will need to provide a first and last name of current residents that you would like to live with during the fall 2009-spring 2010 semesters. Once your friend has listed you mutually, your request will be considered "confirmed".

Please not that there are some instances where UIS Housing & Residential Life will be uanble to honor your roommate request.

  • Sophomores in Pennyroyal Court will room with other sophomores.
  • Sophomores will live in either Founders or Pennyroyal Court. No other living arrangements will be considered (except in extraordinary conditions).
  • Capital Scholars Honors' sophomores will room with other honor students in Lincoln Residence Hall.
  • Non-mutual roommate requests are not able to be considered through the on-line process.
