The History Club at UIS was established in 1991 to promote the study and discussion of history. In the past, the members of the club have sponsored films, speakers, career fairs, trivia nights, and off-campus excursions to historical sites in cities like St. Louis and Hannibal, Missouri.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in history.
