Admission in HDC ProgramThe HDC Program Committee admits students to candidate status twice a year. Individuals who wish to be admitted provide a complete set of application materials by March 15th (for a Fall admission date) and October 15th (for a Spring admission date). Files still incomplete by those dates will not receive consideration. The Program, in an effort to maintain an enrollment reflective of the community it serves, urges minorities to apply. Definitions of status: Candidate: A student whose application to pursue a master's degree in the HDC Program has received approval by vote of the Program Committee Applicant: A student who has submitted an application to the Program which is on file Special: A student who wishes to enroll in courses approved by the Program Committee NOTE : Students who are in applicant status may not enroll for more than twelve (12) hours of HDC-approved courses. Students must have completed all three prerequisite courses (abnormal psychology/mental health, developmental psychology, sociology/social psychology/ anthropology) prior to enrollment in HDC 501 HDC Application Packet: Both Microsoft Word and PDF versions of admissions packet can be downloaded from here.
