The Institutional Committee for the Care and Use of Animals (ICCUA) oversees all research protocols involving animals. As UIS currently houses no regulated species, the committee is not meeting regularly. Questions regarding animal subjects in research can be directed to

ICCUA policy calls for the submission of a protocol for any research involving animals, including unregulated species such as mice and frogs. A completed Animal Research Protocol form (doc) and any supporting documentation should be forwarded to Deb Koua, MS PAC 525.
