Building Service Worker Assistant

Salary: $8.00

Job Description: Fill toilet paper and paper towel dispensers in assigned bathrooms. Dump trash. Clean mirrors, entry glass and door glass. Clean building entrances including outside ash urn areas. Rearrange furniture, assist with conference center set ups and other janitorial duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Able to lift and dump trash barrel.

Building Services Clerk Typist

Salary: $8.00

Job Description: Performs routine office duties such as filing, reception, phones, simple bookkeeping, etc. Post classroom change notices. Schedule meetings and events. Give directions to students during the first week of classes.  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Typing skills are required for computer data entry. Good telephone manners with the ability to take down accurate messages. Some mathematical skills.


Salary: $8.00

Job Description: Taking care of University vehicles which includes: filling them with gas, oil & fluids, taking to service station for repairs, washing & waxing vehicles, filling out related reports. Job may also include working in storeroom which includes: restocking shelves, going on errands downtown, dusting shelves, & helping with reorganizing area & inventory when requested.

Qualifications: Must be dependable and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Facilities and Services Clerk Typist

Salary:  $8.00

Job Description:  Answer phones.  Type and do data entry. File. Prepare work orders for campus requests for maintenance and repairs.  Operate the department wireless radio base to communicate with maintenance personnel.  Make copies.  Deliver mail to department offices.  Deliver documents to other campus offices.  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Student must possess excellent speaking and communication skills and have good attention to detail.  Students must possess computer skills and type a minimum of 40 wpm. Student must be available to work 15-20 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Storekeeper Assistant

Salary: $8.00

Job Description: Record incoming and outgoing stock. Verify stock received against requisitions. Maintain daily operation of the store: answer phone, issue stock, errands downtown, dust shelves, restock shelves, carry heavy items to second level (paint, light bulb cases, toilet paper cases, paper towel cases, etc.) and help reorganizing area and inventory when requested. Dispensing of gasoline. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must have valid driver’s license. Able to lift and carry heavy boxes. Computer knowledge and usage required.
