Student Employment

Part time employment on campus is available to any student who is enrolled in classes at the University of Illinois at Springfield for  a minimum of 6 hours in the fall and spring and 3 hours in the summer.

During the fall and spring semesters, U.S. citizens and resident aliens may work up to 25 hours per week; international students may work up to 20 hours per week.  Capitol Scholars are limited to 15 hours their first semester on campus. All student may work up to 37.5 hours during the summer or weeks when no classes are scheduled; they may combine more than one job.
