Childcare Aide

Job Description:  Interacting with the children at the Child Care Center. Assist child care center personnel with the children, other duties and the lunch program.

Qualifications: Preference given to those "teacher qualified"- at least 19 years old with 60 semester hours including 6 hours in child development or child psychology. Must like working with children.

Clerk

Job Description: Acts as receptionist for the Day Care Center on the UIS campus. Responsibilities include performing routine office duties involving answering the phone; greeting/assisting Day Care Visitors; making on-campus deliveries; sorting mail; photocopying; & data record keeping for staff members with regard to the various forms required for daily operation of the Center.

Qualifications: Must be a student who displays an aptitude for the performance of various skills. Must be able to display an ability to be attentive to staff and detail; able to speak & write English clearly; dependable, conscientious & courteous on the phone and in person. Able to finish work in a timely manner.
