Back to Campus RecyclingBack to Special ItemsPrinter Cartridges Ink Jet printer cartridges are recycled by mailing spent cartridges to a company that refills them with ink and resells them at a lower price than new cartridges. Currenly, all ink jet printer cartridges generated at UIS should be mailed to Bob Raebig (BSB33). All proceeds are donated to the UIS Starlettes Dance Team. Laser Jet Toner Cartridges are recycled by exchanging spent
ones with remanufactured cartridges. The recycled cartridges are high
quality items at a cheaper cost than new ones. A local company, Cartridge
King of Land of Lincoln, provides this service to UIS. Cartridge King,
a non-profit organization, is a division of United Cerebral Palsy and
hires individuals with disabilities. For more information on Cartridge

by dropping off your spent cartridge at Central Stores C-114. Please
do not leave them at the recycling stations or send them through the
UIS campus mail. Campus departments can lower supply costs and
reduce solid waste by using re-manufactured Cartridges! |
