All three EXS-L Programs can be used for two of the ECCE categories: Engagement and Elective.

For students with catalogue dates prior to 2007, Applied Study Term and Credit for Prior Learning courses can meet up to eight credit hours of the UIS University Requirement.

Service-Learning courses are 3 credits each. Two different Service-Learning courses could be used to fulfill 6 credits of Unversity Requirement.
