ESL courses are offered at the intermediate level and above and are open to all non-native English speakers.
- LNG 091 ESL Reading & Writing
- LNG 092 ESL Speaking & Listening
- LNG 101 ESL Advanced Written & Oral Communication
These courses count toward full-time student status, but only LNG 101 counts as university credit.
Class size is kept small to ensure individual attention and significant practice time. Classes are taught by experienced ESL professionals who are also native English speakers.
Current UIS students simply register for ESL courses through the course schedule. ESL Classes are listed under Modern Languages (LNG).
