Each semester, our students have the opportunity to get real world experience in literary publishing and editing, through internships, service learning activities, and in-class projects.

In Spring 2012, UIS Creative Writing Students edited Stirring, a nationally renowned online literary journal. Their editorial work was overseen by Dr. Cass, as part of ENG 271, Introduction to Poetry Writing, and ENG 470A Advanced Fiction Writing.
