Students graduating in Spring 2012 or Summer 2012 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service (https://apps.uillinois.edu/ - “Graduation” tab) by the deadlines listed below:
- Spring 2012 Graduates - February 17, 2012
- Summer 2012 Graduates who DO wish to participate in the Spring 2012 Commencement Ceremony - February 17, 2012 *
- Summer 2012 Graduates who DO NOT wish to participate in the Spring 2012 Commencement Ceremony - July 2, 2012
*A student petition signed by your adviser and department chair approving your participation in the Spring 2012 Commencement Ceremony is also required in order to participate.
Students MUST be sure to verify that all curriculum information is listed accurately BEFORE submitting an online Graduation Application (including major, minor, concentration, etc.). If you have any questions or concerns, please email registrar@uis.edu or call 217/206-7730.

FACULTY FOCUS
Co-authors in the department comprised of Karen Swan, Daniel Matthews, Leonard Bogle, Scott Day, and Emily Boles presented at the American Education Research Association (AERA) conference in New Orleans, the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) Conference in St. Louis and the Distance Teaching & Learning Conference in Madison on "Using Peer Review & Analytics to Incrementally Improve Online Courses".
This research team has an upcoming article in press entitled, "Linking Online Course Design and Implemenattion to Learning Outcomes: A Design Experiment" to be published by Internet in Higher Education Journal.
