APANARD ANGKINAND, Ph.D.
Assistant professor of economics
Dr. Angkinand, who received her Ph.D. in Economics from Claremont Graduate University in 2005, joined the UIS faculty in Fall, 2005.
She specializes in Monetary and Financial Economics and Open Economy Macroeconomics. Her current projects include studying financial integration, capital flows, the choice of exchange rate regimes, deposit insurance, banking regulation and banking and currency crises.
Her research has been published in Open Economies Review and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money.
