All department faculty hold Ph.D's in economics from accredited universities. Faculty members are expert in the areas of trade and globalization, business cycles, financial economics, history of economic thought, development economics, environmental economics, cost benefit analysis, and public finance. All economics core courses are taught by full-time faculty members.
A great many corporate CEOs in today's business world rose to their positions through the economics division. The power of analyzing critical data is great, and can lead to remarkable opportunities.
Many of our graduates hold positions of leadership, both in their field and in the community. The Economics program has an active alumni board which keeps the program up-to-date on current issues in the field.
