The 2015 Faculty and Staff Campaign
The theme for this year’s campaign is: Put Yourself in the Picture. UIS employees will have opportunities to show why they give to UIS, and UIS departments and programs will explain how involved donors can make a difference.
Each year, the month-long Faculty and Staff Campaign celebrates and encourages the giving of faculty and staff at UIS with events and promotions. The 2015 Campaign Council has begun planning next year’s event, so stay tuned for a great theme and lots of excitement.
This year’s kickoff, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
The campaign begins with the Faculty and Staff Kickoff, an event with lots of food, games, and giveaways for employees to enjoy. Put the kickoff on your calendar today: Tuesday, March 3, 2015.

Questions about the Campaign?
For more information on the Campaign, please look over last year’s campaign brief: 2014-15 Faculty and Staff Campaign Brief.
In March, you’ll also be able to ask your closest Ambassador for information. The Ambassadors support the Campaign throughout the University, answering questions and offering information and inspiration.
In 2014, UIS Faculty and Staff Put Themselves into a Huge Picture of Giving
Thanks to UIS’ generous faculty and staff, the FY14 Summary of Success (pdf) proves that many UIS employees truly are treasures. Here’s what faculty and staff gave to last year:
- Where Employees Gave in FY14 – TOP FUNDS (pdf)
- Where UIS Employees Gave in Fiscal Year 2014 (pdf)
- Where UIS Employees Gave in Fiscal Year 2014 by dollar amount (pdf)
You can begin giving now: Put Yourself in the Picture of Giving!
Many of your colleagues have already joined the Campaign by making a gift to UIS. When you give, your gift will also count toward 2014-15 Faculty and Staff totals.
You can choose to support any area of campus—any college, department, or specific fund, and you can make the gift online, by check, or by payroll deduction.
Many UIS employees give to the areas of campus that most interest them. You might want to give to the UIS Landscape and Garden Fund, which provides support to keeping our campus beautiful. If you prefer to give to benefit students, you could also make a gift to the UIS Scholarship Fund or a particular scholarship that benefits students in a certain field.
