Stacey Robisch Willenborg, joined UIS in the summer of
2003. In her position, Stacey has the responsibility
for managing a portfolio of corporate, foundation and
local business partners and prospects. She promotes
campus programs and priorities and fosters private
support from corporations, foundations and local
businesses.
Stacey has an AB in political science from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MA in
political studies from the University of Illinois at
Springfield. She previously served as the director of
legislative affairs for the Illinois State Treasurer.
She has also served as assistant government affairs
manager and foundation manager for the Illinois Press
Association. Stacey also worked in both the state
departments of Public Aid and Aging. Stacey began in
government after receiving her MA and completing a
Graduate Public Service Internship at UIS.
