Marilyn researches and prepares
fundraising proposals and writes other documents used in
fundraising efforts. She also serves as a technical resource to
personnel throughout UIS in their efforts to secure grants.
Before starting at UIS in April
2007, Marilyn worked as staff writer for Project READ, Decatur's
Adult Literacy Project. She also taught English at Decatur
Christian School. She has a BA in Literature from Wheaton
College and an MA in Composition and Rhetoric from Texas A&M
University.
