Think Department or Program First

Each department and must of the programs at UIS have a general fund associated with them.

The Public Administration department has a Public Administration Program Fund.
The Human Development Counseling Department has a Human Development Counseling Department.
The Student Affairs Division has the Student Affairs Fund for Excellence.

These funds, under careful administrative oversight, provide money for whatever the departments, programs, or divisions need.

Some funds have a dedicated purpose:

The K Fund provides for science equipment. (We are building this fund up to an endowment level; because we won't spend any money until it reaches that threshold, your gifts to this fund will be greatly appreciated!)
The Friends of Emiquon collects money for the research, education, and outreach that occurs through UIS' Emiquon Field Station.
The Tennis Courts Fund collects money for new tennis courts.

Where do you want your gift to go today?

That's what you have to ask yourself because at UIS, you have a lot of worthwhile, life-changing opportunities to choose from--and wherever you give, your gift will be greatly appreciated.
