The Women's Center has three gift funds for you to choose from:
The Women's Center Fund Donate
When you give to this fund, you'll be supporting events like Take Back the Night, Love Your Body, and the Clothesline Project. You'll also be supporting the Women's Center new art wall, which will draw attention to the creative brilliance of women artists. This fall, the Women's Center will be holding an art show featuring Lorena Johnson's works. Lorena, a staff member in UIS' Center for State Policy and Leadership, is an accomplish artist who has had her work displayed at the Krannert Center. Your gifts to this fund will help us with this celebration of UIS and women. We'll be having refreshments at the opening and would like to have a jazz combo as well. Women's Center Student Focus Fund Donate
Your gifts to this fund provide support that has an immediate benefit to students, including travel to women's conferences. To understand how much this can mean to students, please read about Carrie Bauer's experiences when she attended a women's conference as a UIS student.
Women's Friendship Garden Donate
Have you seen this beautiful space at UIS? Throughout the year, you can find students, faculty, and staff enjoying a respite from their busy days in this place of beauty and peace. Your gifts will help us keep this space beautiful. And each fall, the Women's Center has a very special reception here to celebrate awardees of the Naomi B. Lynn Award for Outstanding Contributions to Women at UIS.
