This fund provides general supportfor the department.
The Mathematical Department has one targeted scholarship fund.
The Balakrishna Murthy Brahmamdam Memorial Scholarship was established by Krishan and Lakshmi Brahmamdam, in memory of their father. This scholarship is awarded to an international student on a temporary visa who actively promotes the activities/goals of UIS international students. Applicants must display exceptional commitment to the advancement of international cultural education and major in one of the following (in order of preference) English, Communications, Mathematics, Accountancy, Management Information Systems or Computer Science. Applicants must also be enrolled a min. of four hours with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
If neither of these interest you, you can also create your own named fund--either a current use scholarship or an endowed scholarship--that targets mathematical science students. Use the links to learn more about these scholarship opportunities.
As the principle donor, you would get to name the fund and establish the selection criteria.
