  • Therkildsen Field Station at Emiquon
    Jackie Negro at EmiquonUIS now has its own field station, located at the site of The Nature Conservancy's restoration of the floodplain along a reach of the Illinois River. Named for Alfred and Barbara Therkildsen, the field station givs students a living laboratory for biological and environmental research.
