Current Needs

Below we list many different levels of giving. Whatever you choose to give, please give to the following fund. The link will take you to a safe online giving page. Once there, use the comment box to let us know if you have a special giving interest from the list below. You can also send in your gift by mail.

For a donation of less than $500

  • $125 – Annual dues to Intercollegiate Broadcasting Service
  • $149 – One copy of Adobe Audition 3.0 audio editing software
  • $199 – One copy of Simian Production Mode Software
  • $200 – One month of high quality Internet streaming for 50 listeners
  • $205 – Studio link to Campus Electronic Media Office (TV Office)
  • $250 – One year membership in National Broadcasting Society
  • $450 – Industry magazine Radio and Records
  • $500 – Business quality laser printer for station
  • One microphone

For a donation of $500-$1000

  • $600 – Our weekly music subscription service
  • One copy of Simian Automation Software
  • $700 – One copy of Natural Music software for scheduling music for our automation system
  • $ 750 – One terabyte network storage unit for program audio file storage
  • $1,000 –100 hours of student employment in the radio station
    Portable broadcast quality digital recorder
    Mandatory licensing fees for one year

For a donation of $1000-$5000

  • $1,300 – One copy of Natural Log software for scheduling our automation system
  • $1,650 – One Power Backup System (UPS)
  • $1,800 – Audio compression hardware to ensure quality sound
  • $2,400 – One year of high quality Internet streaming for 50 listeners
  • $2,500 – One broadcast quality computer system
  • $4,000 – One BSI Field Station remote unit
  • $4,250 – “Remote link to studio” hardware
  • $5,000 – Studio furniture

For a donation of $5000 and up

  • $6,000 – One Simian Automation System
  • $10,000 – A much needed state of the art audio console
    Underwrites one Graduate Assistantship for the station
  • $20,000 – Equips an audio production classroom to support radio station
  • $50,000 – Renovates building space for use as a radio studio
