Social Work
FAST FACTS ABOUT SOCIAL WORK
- Number of Majors, 2009-2010:
102 undergraduate majors
- Funds that Target Social Work:
- Social Work Program Fund Donate
- Current Needs:
- Student Assistance, including scholarships (OUR GREATEST NEED), funds to help them afford their master's program, attend and present at conferences, and take advantage of other opportunities. We have NO scholarships that specifically target social work students, and because our graduates go into such highly needed and yet low-paid jobs, they need (and deserve) better support than this. Please help them. For only $84/month, you can provide a named current-use scholarship to a worthy student.
- Faculty Development funds, which allow our faculty to keep up to date in their field, attend and present at professional conferences, and benefit from other learning opportunities
- Unrestricted Funds: These allow us to respond nimbly to unexpected opportunities or needs, making them a particularly powerful gift
