PAPERS OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Are you proud of Illinois' most famous son? Would you like to contribute to Lincoln scholarship? We have a way for you to do that.

The Papers of Abraham Lincoln identifies, images, and publishes documents written by or to Abraham Lincoln, eventually making them available on a publicly accessible website. UIS' Center for State Policy and Leadership, one of the project's co-sponsors, is raising money for this endeavor.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to support both UIS and Lincoln.

CHANCELLOR'S MESSAGE TO DONORS

Chancellor Susan J. KochAs Chancellor at UIS, I see every day the way your gifts to UIS make a difference for students and our community. There are so many great things happening on our campus, it is a challenge to keep up with them, but here are a few great things you might enjoy hearing about....

VICKI MEGGINSON TO RETIRE ON JUNE 15

From Chancellor Koch: "You may already be aware that Vicki Megginson, UIS Associate Chancellor for Development and Senior Vice President of the University of Illinois Foundation is retiring in mid-June. Dr. Megginson has been a very successful development leader at the University of Illinois and at UIS, most recently providing the leadership that helped bring our Brilliant Futures Capital Campaign to a successful conclusion. I am very grateful to Vicki for her outstanding service to the UIS campus and to me in my first year as Chancellor. She will be missed." Read more from the Chancellor.

NEW SCHOLARSHIP FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT COUNSELING

The family of founding faculty member James J. Pancrazio have established a new scholarship fund, which they would very much like to see reach endowed status. Jim's impact on campus through HDC has lasted from the day he co-authored the program proposal for the Board of Higher Education, establishing the major at UIS (then SSU). What better way to honor his legacy than an endowed scholarship which will support students in HDC in the future? Please consider making a gift. Donate
