A Gift that Honors
William R. and Mary Traylor Schnirring
Long-time friends of UIS, whose support has been so important to UIS' success, the Schnirrings received a special acknowledgement from children and grandchildren.
Earlier this year, the Schnirring's daughter and son-in-law called UIS, inquiring about how they might honor their parents.
Their gift: lights to illuminate the flags that stand outside UIS' Public Affairs Center.
It was a "perfect fit," according to Vicki Megginson, Associate Chancellor for Development at UIS. The Schnirrings own Springfield Electric.
