What's New: UIS scholarship luncheons
How you can help: become one of our donors!
If you are interested in becoming part of this wonderful event, we are not surprised. There's such a close, immediate connection between the gift that donors give and the benefits that they see in the lives of the students they meet.
Current Use Scholarships
A gift of only $1000 per year will create a current-use scholarship. This means the money you give goes directly to a student. Your name or the name of a loved one can go on the scholarship fund, and as long as you continue to give $1000 a year, the scholarship will remain in existence.
Endowed Scholarships
A gift of $25,000 creates an endowed scholarship fund. With this, a student receives $1,000 or more each year from the interest your $25,000 earns--and you never have to give any more unless you want the scholarship amount to increase ($50,000 creates approximately a $2,000 scholarship).
You don't even have to do this all at once--we can help you create a fund that keeps growing until it does become endowed.
