AMBASSADOR SERIES: hOW yOU CAN HELP

HELP BRING LOCAL STUDENTS TO THE SERIES

Thanks to the wonderful donations of Earl Roland, Roland Machinery, we now have a table designated for local high school students. Two groups that have come in the past:

American Studies teacher Curt Fitzgerald brought students from Rochester High School to hear His Excellency Roy Ferguson, ambassador from New Zealand.
Current Affairs teacher Matt Maton brought students from Springfield's Southeast High School to hear His Excellency Welile Nhlapo, ambassador from South Africa.

HELP LESS AFFLUENT COUNTRIES SEND AMBASSADORS

Ambassadors willingly pay their own way to Springfield, but not all countries have the financial means to send ambassadors. This means that mostly we hear from wealthier countries. The same Special Opportunities Fund will help ambassadors from countries whose budgets cannot support their participation in the series. Your gifts will help to bring a wider global representation of ambassadors to Springfield.
