At UIS, we have several recognition groups for donors who make significant contributions to the University.
It is our great pleasure to honor these donors with special gifts, events, and heartfelt gratitude--especially since these friends share our vision for the future of our students and our institution. They see in a special way how UIS contributes to the Springfield community and want to partner with our faculty and staff in making a difference through the lives of our students.
Membership in these groups depends upon the level of giving and the time those gifts are made.
- University of Illinois Presidents Council--For donors who make outright gifts of $25,000 or deferred gifts of $50,000
- Chancellor's Circle--For donors who give $2,500 or more during a given fiscal year--July 1 through June 30
- Chancellor's Capitol Council--UIS' highest honor organization with minimum gift requirements of $10,000 in lifetime giving to UIS.
