Hear What People say about the Faculty-Staff Campaign

Liz Murphy Thomas and Damon Thomas

Liz Murphy Thomas and Damon Thomas
"The UIS campus community often seems to be a virtually inexhaustible source of good ideas and exciting projects. Sadly, the best plans can be waylaid by a lack of available funds. This is a large part of why we contribute to the Faculty and Staff campaign. We can assist in some small way and help make a positive impact on the university.

"The campaign forms allow us complete control over how our donation will be apportioned. This system makes it easy to see the direct impact of on-campus giving.

"Art Gallery receptions, Brookens Library renovations, and the Women’s Center RAD program provide a very tangible way to know that our contributions 'matter.'"

Rassule Hadidi, Management Information Systems professorRassule Hadidi, Ph.D.

"The University of Illinois at Springfield provides a selection of excellent educational services and opportunities for the Springfield community and beyond. It is always a joy to be able to help and facilitate these valuable activities."

“My wife, Shawn, and I support UIS because we see firsthand the difference UIS makes in the lives of our students and in our community.  We work at UIS to help support excellence in teaching and learning, public affairs and scholarship.  Giving back to UIS is another way we can help move our campus forward.”

"I initially started giving to the campus when I started working here almost nine years ago. I received a wonderful education here and wanted to give back. My giving has increased and become more diverse over the years as I get to know the programs more, work with faculty and staff, and realize where my interests truly lie."
