capitalizing on internships

When you offer internships, you benefit in two ways:

Derek Murray, former State Farm intern, now State Farm systems analystYou gain a willing and well-prepared employee for the length of the internships.

You gain a chance to assess the student's knowledge and character on the job. Think of it as an extended interview!

UIS students must impress their employers: more than 30% get part-time or full-time employment through their Nicole Rebbe, intern at INB in Springfieldinternships.

Helping the Student as Well

Internships connect classroom learning to the real world. We think this is so important that three out of four of our undergraduates at UIS complete an internship before graduating. So you would certainly be playing an important role in a student’s education.

What an opportunity—it's win-win. You benefit, and so does the student.
