I joined UIS in the summer of 2003.
In my position, I have the responsibility for managing a portfolio of corporate, foundation and local business partners and prospects. I promote campus programs and priorities and foster private support from corporations, foundations, and local businesses.
I also am the gift officer for the College of Public Affairs and Administration and the Center for State Policy and Leadership.
I have an BA in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MA in political studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield, which I received after completing a Graduate Public Service Internship. I previously served as the director of legislative affairs for the Illinois State Treasurer. I also served as assistant government affairs manager and foundation manager for the Illinois Press Association and for both the state departments of Public Aid and Aging.
