About the UIS Office of DevelopmentThe Office of Development leads the effort to secure financial support for academic, cultural, and extra curricular programs offered at the University of Illinois at Springfield. Working with the University foundation, administration, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and board members, the office seeks funding to advance excellent teaching, research, scholarship, creative accomplishment, and service. As the liaison between UIS and its benefactors, the office promotes campus needs and priorities, as well as identifies individuals, corporations, and foundations that can help the institution to achieve its goals. They assure that appropriate recognition is given and that high ethical standards are maintained.
