Studio Description: The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers academic studios for BIO 106, BIO 141, CHE 103, and CHE 141 to assist students with supplemental instruction. The CTL Specialist schedules studios and assigns Teaching Assistants (TA) to the various sections of these courses. TAs are required to attend the classes for the sections they are assigned to in order to address the issues confronting students in their specific sections.

BIO 141 Studio: The BIO 141 studio is listed as BIO 199 B in the course schedule.
CHE 103 & 141 Studios: The CHE 103 and 141 studios are listed as CHE 199 in the course schedule.
Placement in BIO 106, BIO 141, CHE 103, & CHE 141 Studios: The instructor of the course will administer an exam sometime during the first weeks of the semester to determine who will be placed in the studio.
