Bill Kline – Interim Director
Sarah Collins

Writing Specialist | Clinical Instructor of English
Sarah is very excited to be joining the CTL as their new Writing Specialist. Previously, she received her Bachelor’s from UIS with an English major and an unofficial minor in Theater in Spring 2010, and then returned to UIS for her graduate studies in English, finishing in May 2012 after completing her thesis project, entitled, “The Face of Disability: Humanizing Effects of Autographics on the Physically and Mentally Impaired.” She worked at the CTL for two years as a peer mentor, and then returned as a graduate TA for two years. Returning as the Writing Specialist seems a natural, and very exciting leap for her, and she is looking forward to the academic year!
